Come lean English for daily living using the "Ventures" curriculum paired with scripture, song, games, and hands on activities. Drop in and register the first week. Monday and Thursday at 6:00 pm, starting January 16th.

Bilingual Maundy Thursday Celebration
Crossroads UMC 5901 Hogan Rd., Waunakee, WI, United StatesYou are invited to join the English & Scripture growth group in a time of gathering and breaking bread together. A prayer labyrinth will invite you to pause and pray before you enter the space of gathering. A prayer station with candles and prayer cards will center you in Jesus and his reason to celebrate the Passover with his disciples and a meal will bring us together as we break bread and celebrate that in the brokenness of Christ body, we are whole. Please let the office know if you are planning to come by Monday, April 3rd, so we can have enough food to share. Invite a friend, everyone is welcome!

Day Of Service
Earth Day – Day of Service On Sunday, April 23rd, we will not have a worship service at Crossroads. Instead, we are asking for people to join in an Earth Day project that day. Two different projects have been planned during our normal time of worship. Read the details below to see how to participate and how to donated needed supplies for that day. Into the Woods Aid in removing invasive plants, clearing branches and obstructions on walking paths and pick up garbage in the Arboretum Woods located between BrightStar Care Facility and the entrance to the Arboretum Village Neighborhood. Meet in the BrightStar Parking Lot (1001 Quin Dr. Waunakee to the west of Crossroads UMC off of Arboretum Dr) at 9:30am Sun Apr 23rd, for some coffee, food and instructions to prepare for the work that day. Bring gardening gloves and wear attire appropriate for time in the woods. Tools needed will be provided and bathrooms will be available as needed. Seeds of Love Come to Laubmeier Park (1155 Prairie View Drive, Waunakee – in new Arboretum Village Neighborhood to the north of Crossroads UMC just off of Hogan Rd) at 9:30am on Sun Apr 23rd to plant your own herbs and vegetable seeds in starter “pods” and then help plant seeds in pots to be given to assisted living residents in the Waunakee Area. Please bring paper egg cartons, gardening gloves if you don’t want to get muddy, a trowel if you have one, and appropriate clothing. Coffee and snacks will be provided. Donations of paper egg cartons (Styrofoam and plastic cartons cannot be used) and 6-8” clay or reusable pots are needed and appreciated.
