Parking Lot Worship

We are having a parking lot worship! Although this might not be a traditional worship service, in the sanctuary, it is the best we can do right now. We believe that just being on the grounds, even just the parking lot will provide a meaningful worship experience. This week we will be having communion during the service, so bring your own elements (bread or something to eat, and grape juice or something to drink) so you can have communion with Pastor Scott. Please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages so you can drive home safely.

We ask that if you come to this worship experience, you follow some safety guidelines:
• Please park in every other stall, leaving space between you and the next car
• The building (and most importantly, the bathrooms) will be closed
• You MUST remain your car at all times, with the windows closed

When you arrive at the church for the worship service, you will be reminded of the guidelines and informed of the radio station you need to tune your car to, 88.3, so you can hear Pastor Scott’s message. We will send out the bulletin and words to the hymns in the week before the service so you can print out at home and bring with you so you can follow along and participate in the service.

We will be having a drive-thru food drive after service this week. Put your non-perishable food items in your trunk before you leave for church, drive past the doors after service, stop in the designated area and a volunteer will take the items out of your trunk and you, then you can drive on home!

Can’t make it to the service? Don’t worry! We will still tape the service and post it on our website and Facebook page so you can join with us in worship from the comfort of your own home.
