  • School Supply Drive

Crossroads UMC 5901 Hogan Rd., Waunakee, WI, United States

Every year the WNC holds a school supply drive to help provide school supplies to the students in need in the Waunakee School District. This annual event is known as the "Fill The Bus" campaign. The bus will be parked at Crossroads on August 15th from 9 am-11 am. If you cannot shop at this time, you can donate scrip cards to such places as Walgreens, Walmart, and Target and we will do the shopping for you. Otherwise, you can also donate money either in person on Saturday, or online on our website. Please be sure to mark all scrip cards or monetary donations for “Fill the Bus”. We will be collecting the supplies in the same we did the food drive earlier this summer. 1. Place items to be donated in your trunk 2. Drive to church and enter the drop-off line 3. Pull up to the designated drop off spot 4. Open your trunk and a volunteer in mask and gloves will remove your donation and transfer it to the bus 5. Drive home Here is a list of supplies that the WNC needs the most: Large backpacks for High Schooler (sturdy material) Dry erase markers Highlighters Composition notebooks (wide lined, black marbled) Colored pencils (Crayola, 24 count) Post-It Notes (yellow, 3x3) Pocket folders (solid colors only) Zippered pencil pouch with 3 holes for binder (approx 7”x10”) We will have the bus at the church all day on the 15th, we are working hard to have volunteers at the bus throughout the day to make your donation experience as easy and contactless as possible. • Words

How many times have you heard someone says "think before you speak"? Or "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? What we say and how we say it has an impact on those around us. So what does the bible have to say about the words we use? Tune in on August 23rd, 2020, and find out the importance of our words.

  • Life Line Screening

Life Line Screening, a leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings, is pleased to offer a preventive health event at Crossroads United Methodist Church on 9/10/2020.  Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis.
