  • Jesus: The Light of The World

    “Light of the world You stepped down into darkness Opened my eyes let me see Beauty that made this heart adore You Hope of a life spent with You And here I am to worship” by Tim Hughes Many melodies have been enhanced by the four words of Advent: Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. Each year we light the candle of our Advent Wreath as we prepare for Christmas: the coming of Christ. It is in our preparations that we are invited to ponder on Christ’s coming with a lens of Hope, Love, Joy or Peace. Sometimes that pondering leads to singing. Nov 26 through Dec 17 we will worship as part of our preparation. You are invited to join Pastor Angie in study as well as she looks at “Light of the World” by Amy-Jill Levine on the Wednesday’s of Advent. Then, on December 24, we will sing with gladness and give that’s for Jesus, Emmanual, Prince of Peace.

  • Advent By Candlelight

    All women are invited, to "Advent by Candlelight, a quiet time to prepare our hearts for the Advent season with fellowship, reflection and song, on Friday, December 1st at 7:00pm. Crossroad's women's choral group, Seraphim will be performing. You won't want to miss this evening to ignite your heart with the pure Joy only Christ can give.  Invite your mother, daughter, neighbors and friends.  All women are welcome! Each week we will look at one of our vows, then we will celebrate God's love in this place with our commitments for 2024!
