  • God’s Dysfunctional Family

Crossroads UMC 5901 Hogan Rd., Waunakee, WI, United States

Summer is a time for family reunions. For some, family reunions are fun and fulfilling. For others, they are uncomfortable or even painful. We all have some dysfunction in our families. We have stories that we'd rather not tell. In the stories of Genesis, we discover God's chosen family - those first generations of Israel - had struggles, secrets, sibling rivalries, and even threats of murder. As we explore these rich and ancient stories, we see how God works through and in spite of family dysfunction to bring about God's purposes for the world, and we find hope for God's presence and movement in our own families.

  • Broken: Good News for Tough Times

Broken--Good News for Tough Times:  In this sermon series covering Paul's letter to the Romans, chapters 8-11, we will focus on how God sustains us in the midst of brokenness, both within and without, helping us to find a sense of wholeness in spite of what all we face.

  • School Supply Drive

Crossroads UMC 5901 Hogan Rd., Waunakee, WI, United States

Every year the WNC holds a school supply drive to help provide school supplies to the students in need in the Waunakee School District. This annual event is known as the "Fill The Bus" campaign. The bus will be parked at Crossroads on August 15th from 9 am-11 am. If you cannot shop at this time, you can donate scrip cards to such places as Walgreens, Walmart, and Target and we will do the shopping for you. Otherwise, you can also donate money either in person on Saturday, or online on our website. Please be sure to mark all scrip cards or monetary donations for “Fill the Bus”. We will be collecting the supplies in the same we did the food drive earlier this summer. 1. Place items to be donated in your trunk 2. Drive to church and enter the drop-off line 3. Pull up to the designated drop off spot 4. Open your trunk and a volunteer in mask and gloves will remove your donation and transfer it to the bus 5.
