  • Quilt Of Valor National Sewing Day

Quilts of Valor (QOV) National Sew Day is Saturday February 1st.  Waunakee’s local QOV group, Quilting at the Crossroads, is participating in this event to make quilts for veterans and active duty service members. It will be from 10AM-3PM at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 5901 Hogan Rd, Waunakee (lower level, around back). Each year we get together to cut, sew (bring your own machine if possible), iron, fold, piece, quilt and bind Quilts of Valor. You can attend all day or drop in as your schedule permits. Please RSVP to the church, (608) 849-9599 or hello@crossroadswaunakee.org,  so we have enough tables set up. Cash donations or gift cards for fabric are greatly appreciated. QOV is a 501.C(3) nonprofit organization funded by volunteers and donations.
