Crossroads is hosting the United Methodist Women South West District’s Day of Enrichment: A Call to Community” on Saturday, November 12, 2016. All women, regardless of your faith or church background, are invited to attend this day of gathering as friends, growing in faith, and enjoying great food. The day will include:
- Fellowship and spiritual nourishment
- Sharing
- Reading program information
- Special Guest: Reverend Scott Carlson, South West District Superintendent
- Speaker: Judy Vasby, Deaconess/case manager Cambridge Area Resource Team
Day of Enrichment begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:45pm. The cost is $10 per person and includes lunch and snacks. Make checks payable to South West District UMW.

Day of Enrichment Special Mission Project: DAIS
Crossroads’ Women’s Group selected Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) for their mission project this year. DAIS is working to ensure the safety and well-being of domestic
violence survivors and their families, and to change societal attitudes that perpetuate violence and the abuse of power. To participate, bring donated personal care products for DAIS to the church before or at the Day of Enrichment. The most needed items are:
- Body wash
- Bath towels
- Wash cloths
- Lip balm
- Hair straighteners
- Women’s shaving cream
- Toothbrushes
- Large size toothpaste
- Pajamas
