Care Ministry

Care Ministries celebrates, comforts, prays for and visits with the Crossroads community.  Each team has a separate function, but together have the purpose ensuring that the Crossroads family cares for one another in a way that makes all feel valued and important.

Just as a nursing mother cares for her children,  so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

1 Thessalonians 2:7-8 NIV

Card Ministry
Creates and mails handmade cards for birthdays, prayer requests, life celebrations or trial.

Food Ministry
Team members make and deliver food as need to help support church families in time of celebration (births) or need (hospitalizations, illnesses, deaths, etc).  They also provide food for church activities.

Prayer Ministry
Prayer requests that have been approved to be shared by the requestor, are sent weekly to the prayer team who prays for each request throughout the week.  Wednesdays at 10am, the prayer group meets to study how to use prayer in their daily lives, and prays for the church, the community and the world.

Silver Care Ministry
Provides neighborly visits to Crossroads family who want companionship or need help with non-medical items such as grocery shopping.  Team members are paired with a care partner to regularly visit.
